Change username and password on your router.
Most routers have username and password 'admin', you must change it, in order to prevent a user on your network to gain complete control of your router.
Do not show the name of your wireless network.
Stop the broadcast of the SSID (service set identifier), thus prevent some non-technical users to gain access to your network.
Filter the MAC addresses.
Each device on your network has a unique MAC (media access control) address. Configure your router to allow access only to specific devices.
Secure with WPA by WPS.
